Atelier1, Kiev

Atelier1, is Kyiv’s first truly concept store, introducing Comme des Garcons and its associated brands to Ukraine. Atelier1 has been open on the 07th April 2005 and was the very first multibrand shop of Ukrainian designers.

Atelier1 was developed to showcase a carefully curated selection of Ukranian Designers whose work was deemed to be of an International Level, and then to present them in a new and innovative platform along established avant garde collections.

Designers included –Lilia Poustovit, Vladimir Podolian and Anna Pinko, who went on to become a Collectif of designers who were presented in London and Paris under the Atelier1 Brand, achieving sales in London, Paris, USA, Japan and Kuwait. These designers created the start of the Atelier1 Collectif concept, currently including also Paskal, Yulia Yefimtchuk, Polya Medvedeva Jewellery, Zinaida Lihacheva.

The shop model has always been about integration between designers, Artists and Creators along Clothing and Fragrance.

Entering the shop through a ground floor entrance you will immediately see, overblown colour images bringing back an immediate reference to Atelier1’s previous shop locations.

All the materials used are familiar to Atelier1, hand crafted metals, glass and polished concrete are joined by lacquered wood and bleached oak.

We believe that shopping has to have an element of theatre and with this truly unique space we have created the first true destination store in  Ukraine.

Foreign fashion designers brands include Comme des Garcons and all his brands Junya Watanabe CDG, Gosha Rubchinskiy , Julien David,Area di Barbara Bolognia, Nude, Julius. It is complimented by perfumes, accessories and candles. Atelier1 's ecclectic mix of collections is curated to reflect current fashion trends and styles but remains true to a clear focused vision.

The interior of the store keeps the basic formation and changes for each season with Design led concepts.
